Can you game only on brand new hardware ?

No for some reasons but I'm only going to tell only two of them .

The first reason is that  brand new hardware are very expensive and there are broke people and a lot of broke gamers  (like me) and you have only two options  get  the greatest hardware for gaming for cheap or second hand or make your own best gaming rig by buying parts online or  to buy them for a cheap price on the nearest hardware and tech store on your town  or get them second hand in perfect condition from a friend of yours or from a random guy that bought newer hardware and giving them away to you.

The second reason is that even old and obsolete hardware can be cool gaming machines for example I have an old iBook G4 ( That some of you say these machines are obsolete) but for gaming on the web and off the web is possible on this machine
